Alberta New Home Warranty Program

Effective February 1, 2014, all permits applied for new home construction in Alberta will fall under the newly updated Alberta New Home Warranty Program. This updated program consists of new mandatory coverage for all homebuyers, including:

1-year workmanship and material warranty
2-year delivery and distribution systems warranty
5-year building envelope coverage
10-year structural coverage

Signature Sabal Service

Your relationship with Sabal doesn’t end the day you take possession of your new home. In fact, it’s just the beginning of a new and important relationship with our Service & Warranty team.

You’ll be paired with a Service & Warranty Coordinator, who will be your personal point of contact at Sabal, and who will liaise between you and your Warranty Technician, booking the appointments and walk-throughs that comprise our Quality Assurance Program.

You’ll see the smiling faces from Sabal again at the following intervals:

When: Three months after possession, after you’ve settled into your home
What: A knowledgeable Warranty Technician will follow-up to assess your home and ensure you are happy with your home’s function and workmanship. Any questions or issues that arise will be reviewed at this time.

When: Twelve months after possession, prior to your 1-year warranty expiration
What: A Warranty Technician will complete a final, thorough home inspection, and will address any deficiencies, as needed.
